Aspirating smoke detector (ASD) is divided into two-tube and four-tube types, both of which are based on dual fusion detection technology of smoke concentration and particle counting, showing higher sensitivity. It can trigger alarm in the early stage of fire as well as can achieve online monitoring and evaluation of the fires based on the characteristic gases generated by fire.
1) High-sensitivity smoke detection function: The product utilizes the laser scattering technology to provide the fire detection and alarm function by aspirating (air sampling), showing high sensitivity.
2) Sectional smoke measuring function: It can measure the smoke particles according to the large and small particle size, and display the number of smoke particles in the large and small particle size in real time.
3) Carbon monoxide detection function: It is equipped with a carbon monoxide detection module, which can display the carbon monoxide concentration value on the detector screen in real time, and can send alarm information according to the preset concentration threshold.
4) Temperature & humidity detection function: It can carry out online monitoring of the temperature and humidity in the monitoring area, display the value on the detector screen in real time, and can send alarm information according to the preset temperature threshold.
5) HCI function: With a good human-computer interaction interface, it can display the smoke concentration, number of large/small smoke particles, carbon monoxide concentration, temperature and humidity as well as alarm status in real time.
6) Alarm function: It has an audible and visual alarm capability, and can upload the alarm information to the system background software in real time for real-time online monitoring.
7) Anti-false alarm function: It has an anti-false alarm feature to prevent interference caused by dust, haze, water mist and other non-smoke particles, and can withstand uninterrupted tests of dust and water mist for 5 minutes without alarm or indicating equipment failure.
8) Multi-mode communication function: This equipment has a redundant data interface and also supports wireless/RS485/Ethernet/relay output communication. The communication protocol meets the requirements of 4G, MODBUS and TCP/IP.
9) Airflow monitoring function: It can monitor the airflow status of the sampling intake pipeline, and issue an abnormal airflow alarm when the airflow value reaches the preset alarm threshold. With the use of the display screen or LED indicator, each sampling main pipeline is equipped with an independent airflow sensor.
10) Air filtration function: It has built-in and external filters to improve the service life of the equipment.
11) Event storage function: It can automatically record and store more than 40,000 events locally, including alarm time, alarm level and operation, etc.
