On October 25, the Beijing Municipal Urban Management Commission released a draft of the Beijing Municipal Supervision and Management Measures for the Operation of New Energy Storage Stations (Trial) for public comment. The draft explicitly requires large and medium-sized energy storage stations to establish operation status and early warning prediction platforms, while small energy storage stations must implement operation status monitoring to track system conditions in real time.
Specifically, Article 11 of the draft clearly points out that: “Large and medium-sized energy storage stations shall establish operation status and early warning prediction platforms and should be equipped with active safety systems, which shall be set up along with fire control rooms. Small energy storage stations shall implement operation status monitoring to track system conditions in real time.”
